The issue of illegal conversion and love jihad in India has been in discussion for the last many years. There is uproar regarding these issues in different parts of the country. However, now the court has also issued a strong warning in this matter. In fact, Bareilly’s Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court-I) Ravi Kumar Diwakar has issued a warning while making strict remarks on the issue of illegal conversion and love jihad. The judge has said that the purpose of illegal conversion is to create conditions in India like Pakistan and Bangladesh.

What is the whole matter?

Actually, a case was being heard in the court about the rape of a girl by a youth from the minority community and an attempt to convert her by hiding his identity. During this, Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and made strict comments regarding love jihad and illegal conversion. According to the information, Mohammad Aalim, posing as ‘Anand’, had tried to rape a Hindu student and convert her. The father of the accused was also sentenced to two years imprisonment for his involvement in this entire case. The judge said that this is a case of illegal conversion through love jihad.

Illegal conversion a threat to the country – Judge

Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar said that the primary objective of Love Jihad is to wage demographic war and establish dominance by some anti-social elements against India through international conspiracy. At the same time, he said that the purpose of illegal conversion is to create situations like Pakistan and Bangladesh in India. The judge said that illegal conversion is a major threat to the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.

If it is not resolved in time…

While pronouncing the sentence in the case, Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar said that conversion is being done by giving inducements like psychological pressure, marriage and job. Expressing apprehension about possible foreign funding in this case, the court said that if this issue is not resolved in time, it could have serious consequences. (input language)
