More irregularities in Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment came to light after an RTI activist alleged that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had exerted undue influence on the process. According to him, a particular tehsildar paid the stamp duty for the site allotted to Siddaramaiah’s wife. RTI activist Snehamoyi Krishna, in a post on Facebook on November 10, wrote in Kannada that she had evidence of the Chief Minister’s influence on the allocation irregularities, although Siddaramaiah said he had no influence on it.

He reiterated that those registering deeds should pay the registration fee. In this case, on behalf of Parvati, the Special Tehsildar has paid the fee. Each deed document costs Rs 550. It may be a small amount, but Parvati should have paid it. There were 14 papers in total. Krishna said that I request the Lokayukta to consider these points also in his investigation.
