Do not let the situation in the country deteriorate, so Prime Minister Narendra Modi has requested to impose a Janta curfew. The country is fully prepared for public curfew. The public curfew will be from 7 am to 9 pm on Sunday. In the Janata curfew, we have to protect ourselves in our own homes and prevent the infection from growing in the country.

Malls and tourist places are already closed in many major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Noida Lucknow, Bangalore. Buses have also been banned in many states. Apart from this, many flights have also been canceled. Under the Janata curfew, the Auto Taxi Union in Delhi announced that auto taxis will not run in Delhi on Sunday. Here, Section-144 is applicable in Haryana and Rajasthan. Maharashtra’s major cities Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Pimpri Chinchwad were also instructed by the Maharashtra government to shut down completely.
Prime Minister Modi had said on Thursday that all the people, except those connected with essential services, should take a pledge not to leave the house from 7 am to 9 pm on the day of Janata curfew. Also, at five in the evening on Sunday, standing in front of the houses or in the balcony, salute by playing clap or plate for five minutes for the doctors, media and home delivery workers. On Sunday, the railway has also announced the closure of all passenger trains.
