Cuddapah: Maulana Arshad Madani has given a controversial statement regarding Ayodhya in Cuddapah, Andhra Pradesh. During this time he also tried to corner the government. He said that these people wanted Ayodhya to become the capital of religion but today no one comes to Ayodhya.
What else did Madani say?
Madani said, ‘The central government is on two crutches. One is Nitish and the other is Chandrababu Naidu. Today more than 5 lakh people have gathered here, which is enough to tell Chandrababu Naidu what the Muslims of Andhra want. In Ayodhya, the court had said that a mosque was not built by demolishing the temple. Then the court gave its decision on the basis of faith but according to the court we won. These people wanted Ayodhya to become the capital of religion but today no one comes to Ayodhya.
Also spoke on Waqf Amendment Bill
Madani said, ‘The government is lying about the Waqf Amendment Bill. People live in the mosques of Punjab because people had left them. The old law says that mosques have to be vacated but the new law denies this. Section 108 of Waqf says that if someone has gone to Pakistan and the property belongs to Waqf, then his property will remain with Waqf. But the new law will end this too.
Madani said, ‘The government will take over all the mosques and cemeteries. We want to tell the state government (Andhra government) that all the Muslims of the country are against this bill. Therefore, this bill of BJP which sets fire to the property of Muslims should be opposed. Be it bulldozing on Muslim houses or snatching the citizenship of Muslims in Assam, Jamiat opposes all these things.
Madani said, ‘Those who are in power today do not know anything about religion. Today they say that there is no mention of Waqf in the Constitution, tomorrow they will say that there is no mention of Haj, Namaz and Mosque. We want to say that as long as we have breath, we will live in this country. Will stick to his religion. Our religion is not going to die. Those who fired arrows to destroy our religion were destroyed. Islam is still alive. The government wants to destroy our religion by bringing Uniform Civil Code. But they will fail and Islam will survive.
