Two day drone conference organized in Amravati from 22nd October

Piyush Srivastava, senior economic advisor in the civil aviation ministry, said the government is working on a new production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for the drone sector and suggestions are being sought from stakeholders.

Drone summit will be organized on 22 and 23 October in Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The event is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Drone companies, foreign entities and other stakeholders will participate in the conference. S Suresh Kumar, secretary, infrastructure and investment (I&I) department of the Andhra Pradesh government, told reporters on Thursday about the drone conference here that a drone exhibition with more than 5,000 drones will also be organized on October 22. He said more than 1,000 people have registered for the conference so far.
