Thackeray’s nephew Varun Sardesai is in the fray from Bandra East assembly constituency. This is the first time that Uddhav Thackeray and his family members are voting for their relative.
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray cast his vote in Mumbai on Wednesday and urged people to exercise their franchise in large numbers to ‘protect the self-respect of Maharashtra’. Thackeray cast his vote in Bandra East with his wife Rashmi and sons Aditya and Tejas.
“Vote in large numbers and protect the self-respect of Maharashtra,” the former chief minister said. Thackeray’s nephew Varun Sardesai is in the fray from Bandra East assembly constituency. This is the first time that Uddhav Thackeray and his family members are voting for their relative. Aditya Thackeray is trying to win re-election from the city’s Worli seat from where he is currently the MLA.
