Along with this, he targeted the Congress government led by Siddaramaiah. He said that the ruling party has reached the height of appeasement politics and alleged that it has in a way made appeasement of minorities its goal.

Joshi alleged that Congress leaders have taken illegal bribes worth thousands of crores of rupees in the form of lease and rent from these lands.
