CM Yogi: Goraksh Peethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek at Gorakhnath temple on Friday morning and prayed to Lord Bholenath for the welfare of the nation and the happiness and prosperity of all the citizens.
On completion of the Rudrabhishek ritual held on Shukla Paksha Chaturthi (Vinayak Chaturthi) of Paush month, Chief Minister Yogi performed the havan. At the Shaktipeeth on the first floor of the Peethadhishwar residence located in the Gorakhnath temple, Chief Minister Adityanath offered Bilva leaves, lotus flowers, Durva and various worship materials to Devadhidev Mahadev and then performed Rudrabhishek with milk, curd, ghee, sugar and holy water of pilgrimage places.
The priests of the monastery completed the ritual of Rudrabhishek with the Mahamantras of Rudrashtadhyaya of Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. After Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister performed the havan amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. After the rituals were completed as per the rituals, he prayed to Lord Bholenath for the welfare of the nation and wished for the healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful life of all the citizens.
