The US had recently accused former Indian RAW officer Vikas Yadav of being involved in a conspiracy to murder pro-Khalistan separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Now Vikas Yadav’s family has reacted to the matter and also they have completely rejected the allegations made by America. Yadav’s family has said that the US government is not telling the truth.
Vikas’s 65-year-old mother Sudesh Yadav said that she is shocked by the allegations of the US government and the reports being shown by the media. She said, ‘What can I say? I don’t know whether the US government is telling the truth or not. He is working for the country.

Yadav’s brother Avinash Yadav, who lives in Pranapura, Haryana, told Reuters that Vikas spoke to him and said all the allegations against him were false. He further said, ‘The family has no knowledge about his working for the spy agency. He never told anything about this.
Avinash said that for us he is still working for CRPF. He told us that he was the Deputy Commandant and was trained as a paratrooper. Yadav’s brother told that he has no idea where he lives. But he lives with his wife and daughter (who was born last year), this is known to them. Giving information about Yadav’s family background, Avinash said, ‘Yadav’s father, who died in 2007, was an officer in India’s Border Force until his death in 2007, and his brother works in the police in Haryana.’
Describing Vikas’s other face, brother Amit Yadav said, ‘He was a quiet boy, who was interested in books and athletics and was a national level shooter.’ He said, ‘Only the Indian government and Vikas know what has happened. We want the Indian government to support us, they should tell us what has happened. Otherwise where will we go?’

The US Justice Department had accused Yadav of leading a failed plot to assassinate Sikh separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu last year. According to the indictment filed on Thursday, Yadav was an officer of India’s Research and Analysis Wing spy service. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has already said that Yadav is no longer a government employee and it is investigating the allegations.
