Virendra Singh Kadian, who became an MLA along with practicing law, is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party which is in power in the capital Delhi. He is a member of the Seventh Legislative Assembly of Delhi from Delhi Cantt constituency. Apart from this, MLA Kadian also works as Municipal Counselor in New Delhi Municipal Council, New Delhi. He entered politics with the aim of eliminating corruption from the government and bureaucratic system. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party as a founding member in 2012.
early life
MLA Virendra Singh Kadian was born on 4 February 1975 in Dubaldhan (Bidhiyan) village of Jhajjar district of Haryana. He was born in a middle-class family with a military background. He is the eldest son. He received his early education from Army School Bagdogra (West Bengal), Vaish Public School and St. Thomas School, Rohtak. After this, Virendra Singh obtained his bachelor’s degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad and master’s degree in Public Administration from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He holds LLB from Mumbai University, LLM from Kurukshetra University and Post Graduate Diploma in Law Drafting from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

He served as a sergeant in the Indian Air Force. He is a social worker and politician. He is a member of the National Council of the Aam Aadmi Party. He is an appointed member of the Rajya Sainik Board of the Government of Delhi and the Treasurer of the Governing Body of Moti Lal Nehru College (Morning and Evening), University of Delhi. He also serves as Municipal Counselor in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). He is associated with various ex-servicemen associations and works to help serving and ex-servicemen and their widows.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Kadian entered politics with the aim of eliminating corruption from the government and bureaucratic system. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as a founding member in 2012, serving as a National Council member and AAP Delhi Cantt assembly constituency president since 2012. After the resignation of Sazia Ilmi, she was given the responsibility as Political Observer of RK Puram constituency till 2015 Delhi Assembly elections. He contested Delhi Cantt elections in 2015. After this, he was last elected as a member of Delhi Assembly from Delhi Cantt on 11 February 2020.
