Visibility has reduced significantly in Delhi and NCR. Vehicles are moving slowly on the roads. Due to smog, there has been a serious impact on railway and air traffic.
More than 28 trains arriving at New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations were delayed by two to nine hours on Monday due to air pollution and low visibility. Due to dense fog, rail and air traffic is being disrupted in Delhi. Visibility at Indira Gandhi International Airport also reduced considerably. More than 160 flights, including 118 departures and 43 arrivals, were delayed at Delhi airport as of 8.30 am due to poor visibility, Flightradar24 reported.
According to the website, departures have been delayed by an average of 22 minutes. Seven flights were canceled in the morning due to low visibility at the airport. Due to smog in Delhi, more than 28 trains arriving at New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations were delayed by two to nine hours on Monday.
