What reason did Mallikarjun Kharge give for the defeat in Maharashtra? Rahul Gandhi also wrapped in gestures

Congress is reviewing the defeat in Maharashtra and Haryana. Today a meeting of the Congress Working Committee was held in which party president Mallikarjun Kharge spoke candidly to the Congress leaders. Kharge said that wherever elections have been held, other parties of INDI Alliance have performed well in the elections. Governments with allies have also been formed in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand, but the performance of Congress was not as expected. Kharge said that when the performance of Congress could be better in the Lok Sabha elections, then there is a need to think why the condition of Congress deteriorated in the Assembly elections after five months.

Did infighting kill Congress?

Kharge said that the reality is that factionalism in the party and statements of leaders against each other caused damage in the elections. He said that the environment in Haryana and Maharashtra was in favor of Congress but it should be considered why Congress could not take advantage of the environment. However, the issue of EVM has also been included in the resolution passed by the Congress Working Committee.

Congress will start a movement across the country

After this, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal also said that Congress will analyze the defeat in Haryana and Maharashtra. But at the same time, it will also start a movement across the country demanding elections through ballot.

Ajay Maken took responsibility for the defeat in Haryana

In the meeting today, Ajay Maken took responsibility for the defeat in Haryana. He said that as screening committee chairman, he made a mistake by giving tickets to sitting MLAs because most of the sitting MLAs lost the elections.

After this Mallikarjun Kharge said a big thing. He also wrapped Rahul Gandhi in gestures and said that it is okay to raise issues like caste census, constitution, social justice but it does not mean that we should forget the local issues of the election states. Elections cannot be based on national leaders and national issues, local leadership will have to be at the forefront.
