Terrorists attacked in Uri
Actually, there was a camp of the Indian Army in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists conspired to attack in this camp. The attack was carried out in the morning just before sunrise, when the soldiers were sleeping. On 18 September 2016, 4 terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed entered the Indian Army camp in Uri and started firing indiscriminately. The tents of sleeping soldiers were set on fire. This attack was carried out in ambush, so the soldiers did not get a chance to escape. 18 Indian soldiers were martyred in this attack. After this, the special forces present there killed all four terrorists.
Army took revenge of Uri attack
The Uri incident shocked the entire country. People started demanding that the terrorists should be taught a lesson. At the same time, Pakistan was not ready to accept that its patron terrorists had committed this cowardly act. During this time nothing was said by the government, but behind the scenes the entire script of revenge was being written. No one had any inkling of this. Terrorist hideouts were identified for this entire operation. Then it was decided where to attack and where terrorist camps were present. After this, late night of 28 September 2016, a team of Indian Para Commandos entered Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). After entering about 3KM, the Indian Army soldiers started their special operation.
Killed more than 50 terrorists
The soldiers destroyed all the terrorist hideouts present in PoK. During this entire operation, the Pakistani Army had no clue. As soon as Pakistan got wind of this, it sent its fighter jets to the border, but the Indian Army had returned after completing its work. Pakistan did not get anything. More than 50 terrorists were killed in this entire attack. This operation was named “Surgical Strike”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself put this matter before the country and the countrymen celebrated.
