VHP International Organization General Secretary Milind Parande while talking to India TV.

Nagpur: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international organization general secretary Milind Parande has strongly reacted to Maulana Sajjad Nomani’s announcement of supporting Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) at 269 places. Parande questioned this move and said, ‘Is it appropriate from the point of law to instruct people of a particular religion as to which party to vote for?’ Calling it against democratic values and the Constitution, he called upon the Hindu society to remain alert. Also, on the arguments given by Rahul Gandhi regarding the Constitution, Parande said that the party which has caused suffering to thousands of people by bringing Emergency does not have the right to speak on the Constitution.

Hindu community alerted

Parande said that considering such efforts as a serious challenge for the Hindu society, they should be made aware of it. Giving an example, he said, ‘What happened in Dhule Lok Sabha seat during the Lok Sabha elections was discussed in the whole of Maharashtra. There were discussions on 8-10 seats in this manner. One assembly vote changed the entire voting percentage and outcome. It’s a topic of concern.’ Taking aim at those demanding a ban on RSS, Parande said, ‘Those who talk about banning RSS, are they really patriots? Is it very wrong to raise the issue of ban on RSS? He said that RSS is continuously engaged in the service of the country.

‘Congress has no right to speak on the Constitution’

Milind Parande also launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi for showing the Constitution book in election meetings. He said, ‘The party which brought Emergency and put thousands of people in jail, has no right to speak on the Constitution.’ Parande also expressed his opinion about Nawab Malik contesting the elections. He said that ‘any person who goes against Hindu interest is not good for the society. We are not talking about any particular party, but if someone has given him a ticket, that is his thinking. He said that the society should now think seriously about whom to vote for and who not.
