After not being able to deal with the students protesting in front of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission regarding their demands in Prayagraj, the police has started showing strictness. Today at around 8 o’clock in the morning, suddenly the police force reached the protest site and arrested some students. These also include student leader Ashutosh Pandey associated with Samajwadi Party who was leading the protest at that time. In this tussle, many girl students sitting on strike are also alleged to have been injured. It is being said that all the police personnel were without uniform. The girl students say that there was no female policeman with them. There has also been misbehavior with girl students. Now the girl students themselves have taken charge and are leading the protest. There is a tense situation at the spot. Barricading has been increased around the protest site. Students are raising slogans against the police administration.
Earlier last day, Uttar Pradesh. Three people, including a SP leader, have been sent to jail for vandalism during the ongoing protest outside the Public Service Commission office. On Wednesday, major action was taken against them for breaking government barriers, coaching boards and creating unrest. Police sent three people including SP leader to jail. Cases were filed a day before against two, including the SP leader, while another accused was challaned for disturbing peace. Efforts are on to identify the unknown accused.

The accused sent to jail include SP Lohia Vahini’s national general secretary Raghavendra Yadav, Abhishek Shukla and Shashank Dubey. Raghavendra and Abhishek are named accused in the case registered at Civil Lines police station. Raghavendra is originally from Jaunpur and Abhishek is from Mirzapur.
Police claim that both of them were involved in breaking the government barrier and coaching board on Tuesday. They have been identified with video footage. An FIR was registered against a total of 12 people on the complaint of Public Service Commission outpost in-charge Krishnamurari Chaurasia at Civil Lines police station. Of these, two were named while the rest were unknown. The police is busy scanning the video footage to identify the unknown accused.
According to the police, the third accused sent to jail, Shashank, is originally a resident of Karaura, Auraiya, who calls himself a competitive student while living here. He was among the 10 people who were detained on Tuesday, November 12, on charges of creating unrest under the guise of agitation. Of these, nine were granted bail from the ACP court but Shashank was sent to jail. The allegation is also that Shashank had forcefully gone to the Commission to stop the coaching and was also trying to spoil the atmosphere. In the FIR on behalf of the outpost in-charge, it has been alleged that on Tuesday at around 1 pm, the coaching board installed on the pillar of the Municipal Corporation in front of the gate number two of the Commission was broken by some unruly elements by climbing on the government iron mobile barrier. The government barrier was also damaged.
