According to the police, each accused was told only about his work. So far 3 accused have been arrested in this case. Whereas, 3 accused are absconding which are Shubham Lonkar, Zeeshan Akhtar and Shivkumar. According to the police, brothers Praveen Lonkar and Shubham Lonkar are involved in this crime.
Who offered to kill?
The accused told the police during interrogation that Praveen and Shubham were the ones who had brought this offer. They had meetings several times in Pune. He was told that a huge amount would be given after the work was done. Shivkumar knows a lot in this matter.
Betel nut to kill both Zeeshan and Baba Siddiqui
Mumbai Police has shared important information regarding Baba Siddiqui murder case. Police have said that a few days before the incident, Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui had received a threat. The murder accused told during interrogation that both Zeeshan Siddiqui and Baba Siddiqui were their targets. The accused were ordered to open fire on whoever they found. According to the police, Zeeshan Siddiqui was also the target of the accused. The accused were given contract to kill both Zeeshan and Baba Siddiqui.
