Passengers had to struggle to board the train

Passengers were facing difficulty in boarding every compartment. GRP police and RPF personnel were fully alert to ensure that no untoward incident takes place at Vapi railway station. The policemen were also helping the passengers to enter the train. The crowd was so huge because the areas of Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli in and around Vapi of Valsad district are adjacent to it, where there are many companies in which workers from many states work. Because of this, the number of North Indians is more here. There is no special arrangement for trains to go home for Diwali and Chhath Puja. It is worth noting that after the Mumbai incident, the Railway Department is taking full vigilance.

Crowd of passengers gathered in Patna

There was so much crowd of passengers in the Rajya Rani Express train going from Patna to Saharsa at Patna Junction that people were seen going inside through the emergency window. The train had just reached Patna from Saharsa when a fight started inside to snatch the seats. The incoming passengers had not even disembarked when the boarders started entering. Girls were also seen going inside through the emergency window, those who could not go inside through the emergency window tried to steal seats by throwing handkerchiefs or towels through the normal window. People said that it is a great festival, one has to go home under any circumstances, there is a lot of crowd at the gate, so one has to go through the window.
