Recently, rumors of bombs on various flights have worried everyone. However, the government seems to be taking action regarding this. A big statement from Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu has also come out. He said that action is being taken on this. We cannot comment on any kind of conspiracy, but as far as we know, these calls are coming from some minors and mischievous people. These are all small and isolated incidents. There is no conspiracy that we can comment on.

The minister further said that from our part, we will see what best we can do. We are also talking to airlines and security agencies within the ministry. Discussions are going on. Today, a state of emergency was declared after a bomb threat was received on an Air India flight from Mumbai to London. Today, five Air India flights, two Vistara and two Indigo flights also received bomb threats, adding to the list of threat calls received by the airlines.
In the last three days, 19 flights have received bomb threats and due to the threat, an IndiGo flight bound for Riyadh was diverted towards Muscat. The officers provided this information. In less than twenty-four hours, nine flights received bomb threats and in three days at least 19 flights received such threats. All the threats received through social media turned out to be false. On Wednesday, four IndiGo flights, two SpiceJet flights and one Akasa Air flight received bomb threats. Late on Tuesday night, one flight each of Vistara and Air India Express was threatened with a bomb.

IndiGo received bomb threats on three flights, including a Riyadh-Mumbai flight, which was diverted to Muscat (Oman). Riyadh is a city in Saudi Arabia. An airline spokesperson said in a statement that the plane was isolated and all passengers were safely disembarked. Another flight from Mumbai to Singapore received a security alert and the flight was landed in Singapore. Also, an IndiGo flight from Chennai to Lucknow also received a security alert.
