Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously making efforts for child protection in the state. It is the result of his efforts that today the state government is continuously taking important steps in the field of child protection, as a result of which the rights of children and their safety are being strengthened in the state. Due to the activeness and public welfare policies of the Yogi government, till now it has succeeded in reuniting more than 93,658 separated children with their parents or guardians. This unprecedented effort has brought happiness to thousands of families.
The Yogi government, which is running in step with the public welfare policies of the Central Government, has given a new dimension to the development in UP. In quantitative terms, Uttar Pradesh is today writing a new story of progress in every field. In Uttar Pradesh, the state government has adopted and rehabilitated 1645 children under child protection under the Central Government’s “Mission Vatsalya Yojana” run by the Women and Child Development Department. This initiative is not only providing these children an opportunity to grow up in a safe and loving environment, but is also giving a new direction to their future. With this step many destitute children of the state have got a new life.

Formation of task force is providing quick justice
Apart from this, the Yogi government has constituted task forces in all the districts and quickly resolved 1707 child disputes. These task forces have helped in providing justice to children by taking swift action in disputed cases. With this initiative, child rights have been strengthened in the state and efforts to improve the lives of children have been strengthened.
Yogi government is training children and making them self-reliant
Under the child protection policy of the Yogi government, 11,860 children have benefited from the sponsorship scheme, while 2 children have been provided safe shelter through foster care. This scheme is proving to be a big step for the safety of children and their better future. Under the National Skill Development Mission, 1015 teenagers have been trained in the state, out of which 29 teenagers have got employment. Its objective is to make teenagers self-reliant and to give them a respectable place in the society. Child Helpline (1098) service is also actively working in 75 districts in the state, through which immediate assistance for child protection is being provided. Yogi government’s policies for child protection and their implementation are proving to be a milestone in the direction of protection of child rights and a bright future for children.
