Newspaper headlines: ‘Plagiarism row professor resigns’ and ‘West End stab rampage’

London’s Westminster Council – which oversees Soho and the West End – has recommended pubs discourage “excessive drunkenness” by limiting ordering at the bar and drinking standing up. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, hopes to use new powers coming to him to stop councils from “overreaching”, the paper says.
