Virat Kohli created such a record, no Indian captain could do it

A series of three T20 matches between India and Australia is being played at the moment. So far there have been two matches, both India have won the match, in this way the Indian team has also captured the series. The third last T20 match is still remaining. The match will be played in Sydney on Tuesday, December 8. After winning this match, Team India would like Australia to be eliminated in the series, while the Australian team would like to return by winning the last match. But by winning the first two matches of this series, Indian team captain Virat Kohli has made a record, which no Indian captain could make till now. Leave it Indian, no Indian has even made this record.

Virat Kohli became the first Asian Indian captain to win the series in all formats against Australia in Australia, with a 2–0 lead in the T20 series. The Indian team, captained by Virat Kohli, won the Test series 2–1 in 2018–19, while it also won the ODI series 2–1. India had drawn the T20 series on the Australian tour last time, while this time it won the first two matches and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. The third final match of the series will be played in Sydney on Tuesday.

India achieved a clean sweep of 3–0 in the T20 series under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2016. Under MS Dhoni captaincy, India also named the tri-series in Australia in 2007-08. Although MS Dhoni had failed to win the Test series to India, in 2011-12, he had to lose the four-match Test series. India also lost the ODI series 1-4 in 2015-16. It was under the captaincy of MS Dhoni that India suffered a 0–2 series loss in 2014–15.

India did not win any series in Australia even before winning the tri-series in Australia under the captaincy of MS Dhoni in 2007-08. While India has won the series in all formats in Australia on one hand, none of the top three Test playing nations of Pakistan – Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, have so far won a single Test series in Australia.
