Shan Masood and Babar Azam
Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has been going through very poor form for some time. Recently, during the Test series played against England, he was also dropped from the last two Test matches of Pakistan team. Masood said in the BBC Stumped radio program that I think he is one of the best batsmen in the world. I am no one to say that he has no future. He has every quality to become one of the greatest batsmen of Test cricket. He always remains on top in the rankings. Sometimes people need a break. Masood said that I think this break will benefit him a lot and he will come back as a stronger player. There’s nothing wrong with being outside and relaxing sometimes. He has played a lot of cricket and endured a lot, and he will always be one of the main batsmen to play for Pakistan.
This series is important for Babar Azam
The ODI series to be played against Australia is going to be very important for Babar Azam. Babar Azam scored his last ODI century against New Zealand in May 2023. This series will decide his place in the team. Babar Azam is also a part of Pakistan’s team in the T20 series against Australia. However, his poor form in Test cricket still continues. Fans fear that his poor form in Test cricket may not be seen in ODI and T20 also. Pakistan team will play its first ODI match against Australia from 4th November.
