Emerging Asia Cup 2024:Emerging Asia Cup 2024 is being organized on the soil of Oman in which many strong teams of Asia are participating. The tournament started from October 18 and a total of 8 teams were divided into two groups. India and Pakistan were kept in the same group i.e. Group-B. Apart from them, UAE and Oman were also given place in Group-B. Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong were included in Group A.
Now about a week has passed in the tournament and the four teams of the semi-finals have been decided. Actually, in its very first match, India had defeated Pakistan in a thrilling manner by 7 runs. After this, Team India defeated UAE by 7 wickets in the second match. On the other hand, Pakistan, after facing defeat in the first match, managed to defeat Oman by 74 runs in its second match. In its third group stage match, Pakistan defeated UAE by 114 runs. In this way Pakistan got the ticket for the semi-finals. India has already secured its place in the semi-finals by winning both its opening matches. The team’s third match against Oman is now just a formality.
Competition between these teams in the semi-finals
India and Pakistan have made their place in the semi-finals from Group-B. At the same time, Oman and UAE are out. Two teams from Group A have also reached the semi-finals. Bangladesh and Hong Kong’s dream of reaching the semi-finals has been shattered. Both the teams could win only 1-1 matches in the group stage. At the same time, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan qualified for the semi-finals. Both teams were successful in winning 2-2 out of 3 matches.
Both the semi-final matches will be played on 25 October. In the first semi-final, there will be a clash between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, while in the second semi-final, India and Afghanistan will face each other. If India and Pakistan succeed in registering victory in the semi-finals, then the fans will get to see a tremendous competition between the two teams in the final.
