Ravichandran Ashwin has become the oldest player to take a 5-wicket haul in Test cricket for India. He took a five-wicket haul in Tests at the age of 38 years and 2 days. Ashwin has broken the record of Vinoo Mankad. Mankad took a five-wicket haul in the Peshawar Test against Pakistan in 1955 at the age of 37 years and 306 days.
