These rules will remain intact in IPL
The Impact Player Rule was first implemented in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. After this it was adopted in IPL also. With the introduction of this rule, big scores were made in the matches and big scores were also chased, but this rule does not seem right for cricket to some extent. Players also do not seem happy with this rule. Even before, captains and coaches of many teams have said this. The introduction of this rule has had a huge impact on all-rounders. Instead of playing one all-rounder, teams are preferring to play one batsman and one bowler.
