India vs New Zealand Test Series: The Indian team is currently playing a Test series against Bangladesh. After this, Team India will play a three-Test series against New Zealand. Both these series are very important for Team India in terms of reaching the final of the World Test Championship. Now, before the India vs New Zealand Test series, news has come out that will make the fans happy. The Mumbai Cricket Association has said that there will be no increase in ticket prices for the third Test to be played here between India and New Zealand from November 1 to 5.
Ticket prices were increased in the year 2016
The MCA had last increased the ticket prices for Test matches by 25 per cent in 2016. At that time, the cheapest daily ticket price was increased from Rs 100 to Rs 125, while the price for the entire match was increased from Rs 300 to Rs 375. Among other decisions taken by the Mumbai Cricket Association in its apex council meeting, it was decided to provide first class passes and travel allowance to all trainee players selected for the camp in different categories (Under-14, Under-16, Under-19 boys and Under-15, Under-19, Under-23 senior women).
MCA will organise a job fair for players in which former and current Indian cricketers along with top officials of various corporate organisations will be present. MCA President Ajinkya Naik said that the aim of this event will be to provide employment to cricketers. This will provide career opportunities to the players both within and outside cricket.
India won the match last time
The last match between the two teams was played in 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India won this match by 372 runs. New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel achieved the feat of taking 10 wickets in an innings of this match. He became the third bowler to take all 10 wickets in a Test innings.
