IND vs AUS, 5th Test Playing 11: The 5th and last Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 between India and Australia started today i.e. from January 3 in Sydney. Australia had announced its playing eleven a day before the start of the Sydney Test. In place of Mitchell Marsh, 31-year-old star all-rounder Beau Webster was included in the playing eleven for the first time. In this way Beau Webster got a chance to debut in Test cricket against India.
The head coach made a big revelation a day ago regarding the playing eleven of Team India. He told that Akash Deep will not be able to play the Sydney Test due to back stiffness. At the same time, Rohit Sharma is not playing the Sydney Test. He has been given rest. Jasprit Bumrah, who was captaining in the Sydney Test, made this big revelation after winning the toss. Two major changes have been made in the Indian team. Shubman Gill has entered the playing eleven in place of Rohit while Prasidh Krishna has come in place of Akash Deep.
