The IPL auction became quite interesting when there was competition between many teams for Butler. This team has made its team part for Rs 15 crore 75 lakh. With the arrival of Jos Buttler, his team’s batting will become much stronger.
Rajasthan Royals did not retain
Jos Buttler’s team Rajasthan Royals did not retain him before the IPL 2025 auction and decided to release him. Rajasthan Royals retained six players, but Buttler’s name was not included in it. There were reports regarding Butler that talks could not be reached between him and his team regarding money. Jos Buttler has been in amazing form in the last few IPL seasons and was consistently scoring runs for Rajasthan Royals. Now it will be interesting to see how he continues his excellent form in the next season.

He has scored 3582 runs in 106 innings of 107 matches in IPL at an excellent average of 38.10 and strike rate of 147.52. Jos Buttler is a great batsman as well as a wicketkeeper and a captain.
