This time, Team India’s star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who was a part of the mega auction and got a place in the bowlers’ slot, his base price was Rs 2 crore, Chennai Super Kings was successful in making him a part of their team. Ravichandran Ashwin made his debut playing for Chennai Super Kings in the first season of IPL played in the year 2008, after which he has returned to this team again after 9 years. Ashwin was seen playing the role of a match-winner for Chennai Super Kings for a long time.
Chennai Super Kings bought Ashwin for Rs 9.75 crore.
Ravichandran Ashwin played for Chennai Super Kings from the 2008 IPL season to 2015. After this, he played for Rising Pune Super Giants team in the 2016 and 2017 seasons. In the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Ashwin played for Punjab Kings. After this, Ashwin became a part of the Delhi Capitals team in the IPL seasons played in the years 2020 and 2021 and after playing here for 2 seasons, Ashwin was seen playing for the Rajasthan Royals team from the year 2022 to the 2024 season. Apart from Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals had also shown their interest in taking Ashwin in the mega auction of IPL 2025, but in the end, Chennai Super Kings team again got him after 9 years. He was successful in getting a part of the team, in which CSK spent Rs 9.75 crore from their purse to get Ashwin.
CSK again made Conway and Rachin Ravindra a part of its team.
Apart from Ravichandran Ashwin, the Chennai Super Kings team was successful in making Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra, who were part of their team in the last IPL season, a part of their team again, in which Conway was bought for Rs 6.25 crore and Rachin Ravindra was bought for Rs 6.25 crore. CSK made a part of its team for Rs 4 crore. Apart from this, Rahul Tripathi will also be seen playing in the CSK team next season, whom they bought for Rs 3.40 crore.
