However, the discussion continued regarding Shami’s fall. While bowling the last over of Madhya Pradesh’s innings, Shami fell while trying to stop the ball and it seemed that the ball hit his shoe. The fast bowler, who returned after being out for a long time due to injury, was feeling uncomfortable. He was lying on the ground holding his lower back. Nitin Patel, head of the medical panel of the ‘Centre of Excellence’, immediately reached the field to examine the bowler. However, there was no serious injury due to the fall.
