Mehdi is also the first player to do so in the 2023-25 edition of the World Test Championship. Mehdi has so far scored more than 500 runs with 30 wickets. In the history of WTC, only 2 players before him had managed to do this, in which Ben Stokes had managed to do this feat twice and Ravindra Jadeja had managed to do this feat thrice.
