But now he is going through a bad phase in his career. So far, he has scored 3997 runs in 55 test matches for Pakistan, which includes 9 centuries. Babar has resigned from the limited overs captaincy and under his captaincy the Pakistani team could not perform well in the T20 World Cup 2024 and ODI World Cup 2023.
