England cricket team’s star player Sam Curran made his debut for his country in the year 2018. Sam Curran’s elder brother Tom Curran also plays cricket for England, but their middle brother Ben Curran has made his international debut not for England but for some other country. He failed miserably in his debut match itself and could not do anything special for his team. He has debuted for the Zimbabwean team. Ben Curran played domestic cricket for England for a long time, but due to not getting a chance in the England national team, he decided to do something different.

Father and son duo did wonders

Sam Curran, Tom Curran and their middle brother Ben Curran were born in England. Although his father has played cricket for Zimbabwe. Ben Curran has played for Northamptonshire till 2022, but after that he has moved to Zimbabwe. He has performed brilliantly for Zimbabwe in domestic cricket. He was the highest run-scorer for his team in the Pro50 Championship 2024/25 and the first-class tournament Logan Cup 2024/25. Due to which he has been selected in the Zimbabwe national team.

Failed in debut match

Ben Curran got a chance to debut for the ODI series being played between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan. He played an innings of only 15 runs in his debut match. Although this match was canceled due to rain, but this match will be counted in his career. In such a situation, he failed in his very first mat. A good innings was expected from Ben Curran in his first match, but he disappointed the team while opening. Ben Curran was dismissed by Afghanistan bowler Azmatullah.
