Team India announced, young all-rounder made captain, will clash with Pakistan in the very first match

Indian under-19 cricket team

Even though nothing is clear yet regarding Champions Trophy 2025, India and Pakistan are going to face each other soon on the cricket field. Yes, you read it right. There is going to be a great cricket match between India and Pakistan. Both the teams will face each other in the ACC Junior Women’s Under-19 Asia Cup. The Indian team has been announced for this tournament. The command of the Indian team has been handed over to all-rounder Nikki Prasad. Sanika Chalke has been made the vice-captain while Gujarat Giants fast bowler MD Shabnam has also been included in the team.

India and Pakistan in the same group

The ACC Junior Women’s Under-19 Asia Cup will be held in Kuala Lumpur from 15 to 22 December. All the matches of this tournament will be played at Beaumas Cricket Oval. India have been placed in Group A along with Pakistan and Nepal while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and hosts Malaysia. India will begin its campaign in the tournament on December 15 against arch-rivals Pakistan. After this, Team India will face Nepal on 17th December. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Four and the top two teams of the Super Four will play in the final on 22 December.

Standby: Hurley Gala, Happy Kumari, G Kavya Shree, Gayatri Surwase

Non-Travelling Reserve: Prapti Rawal.
