Mohammad Rizwan may get the command of Pakistani cricket team
Some PCB insiders have revealed that choosing the next captain is not going to be an easy task for limited overs head coach Gary Kirsten or the selection committee. The source has said that Mohammad Rizwan can be the captain of limited overs. There is a reason for this also. In fact, apart from Babar Azam, he is the only player whose place is confirmed in the team in all three formats. The source said that Kirsten has told the PCB that after seeing Babar’s confidence and form, he does not think that any other player will be able to handle the pressure of captaincy in two formats. This is a matter of tension for the PCB.
PCB will have to take a decision this month
The matter of tension for the Pakistan cricket team and the PCB is that they will have to choose a new captain as soon as possible, perhaps they may not have much time this month. Currently a three test match series is to be played between Pakistan and England. For this the England team has reached Pakistan. The series will end on October 28. After this, there will be a three-match ODI series between Australia and Pakistan in the next month i.e. November and after that there will be a T20 series. The series will be held in Australia, so PCB will have to take the final decision on captaincy as soon as possible.
