Due to Glenn Maxwell’s injury in the BBL season played in the year 2022-23, Melbourne Stars had given this responsibility to Adam Zampa in place of Marcus Stoinis. After Maxwell, Stoinis is only the second player in the history of BBL to have played 100 matches for Melbourne Stars. Only last year, Stoinis signed a three-year contract with Melbourne Stars which will last till the 2026-27 season.
