When he was asked which South language film he especially likes, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam or Kannada, the actor replied, ‘For me it is all the same, because I don’t know any of these. . So if any southern filmmaker can trust me, explain me properly and answer all my questions, then I am ready to work for them.

Shahid will soon be seen in the film ‘Deva’ in which Pooja Hegde is with him. Shahid will be seen playing the role of a policeman in this film directed by Roshan Andrews. Talking about the film, the actor said, ‘It is an action film, so there is a lot of action in it. In this you will get to see tremendous thrill which will force you to think who did this. I am playing an aggressive character in this. This is a great film, if we make the right teaser and trailer it will thrill you. It will release on February 14 next year and I am waiting for the audience’s response. The 24th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) is currently going on in Abu Dhabi.
