The company’s shares were listed on NSE at Rs 78.14 with a premium of 5.5 per cent. The issue price of shares in the IPO was Rs 74. At the same time, the company’s shares were listed on BSE at Rs 78.5 with a premium of 6.08 percent. The Rs 2200 crore IPO of Niva Bupa Health Insurance opened for subscription on November 7 and closed on November 11. The price band in the IPO was kept at Rs 70-74 per share.

The IPO of Niva Bupa Health Insurance received an excellent response from investors. It was subscribed 1.9 times. The company had received bids for 31.13 crore shares as against 16.3 crore offered shares. The retail investor segment in the IPO was filled 2.88 times. Non-institutional investors segment filled 0.71 times. The category of qualified institutional investors was filled 2.17 times.
decline in early trade
After listing, profit booking was seen in Niva Bupa shares. It was seen trading at Rs 76.41 with a decline of 2.66 per cent or Rs 2.09 in early trade. In the financial year 2023-24, the company had recorded a growth of more than 44 percent in revenue on an annual basis. Whereas PAT had increased by more than 550 percent during this period.
