Top management of 40 percent of the companies included in ManpowerGroup’s Employment Outlook Survey said that they will increase the number of their employees in the next three months. Due to this, the employment scenario in India in January-March 2025 is likely to be the strongest globally. That means new jobs will be created and youth will get opportunities.

3,000 companies participated in the survey

More than 3,000 companies from different sectors of India were included in the survey. According to the survey released on Tuesday, 53 percent employers are planning to increase the number of employees, while 13 percent employers fear reducing the number of employees in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year. At the same time, 31 percent companies are not expecting any change. Overall, there is full hope that the times to come will be better. The government is also increasing its expenditure, which will increase work orders from companies. This will also create new employment opportunities.

There will be maximum opportunities in the world

Sandeep Gulati, Managing Director, India and Middle East, ManpowerGroup, said India remains one of the fastest growing large economies in the world. Its position as a Global Leader in the Employment Outlook for the first quarter of 2025 reflects employers’ confidence in the country’s economic progress. India has the highest net employment estimated percentage of 40 percent. After this, America with 34 percent and Mexico with 32 percent are at second and third place respectively. The employment outlook for Argentina was the worst at -1 percent. Whereas the global average was estimated at 25 percent.
