Train number 03309 will run between Dhanbad and Jammutawi twice a week.

Indian Railways has decided to increase the operating hours of some special trains run by the Railways for convenient movement of passengers. Also, for the convenience of railway passengers, it has been decided to provide temporary halt of two minutes to some trains at Melmaruvattur Railway Station in view of Irumudi/Thaipusam festival.

Increase in operating period of special train trips

Train number 03309 will run between Dhanbad and Jammutawi twice a week. Its operational period has been extended from January 4 to January 28, 2028. Earlier the date for this was fixed as December 31, 2024. Similarly, the operating period of train number 03310 between Jammu Tawi and Dhanbad has been changed from January 5 to January 29, 2025. Earlier the date for this was fixed as January 1, 2025.
