Elon Musk has made his microblogging platform X (Twitter) a super app. In this the company has added a new Job Search feature. Users can search for jobs on X just like on LinkedIn. Last year, Musk had added Job Hiring feature in it, in which recruiters i.e. job providing companies can list themselves. This feature was first introduced in the beta version. Later this feature has now been rolled out for all users.
X becomes super app
Musk has made many changes in Twitter (now X) since purchasing it in 2022. First, many features have been added to it including video calling feature, long video sharing, long post, editing, live, which are present on other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram etc. Now Musk has made preparations to shift the users of LinkedIn towards himself by adding a job search feature to it. However, how popular this feature will be on the X in future will be known later.
How will it work?
Musk had added the X-Hiring feature to the beta version of his microblogging platform. This feature is mainly for those organizations which are verified on this platform. Through this hiring and jobs feature, organizations as well as suitable candidates will be able to find jobs of their choice.
X new Jobs feature
This Jobs feature of X will depend on the database of X-Hiring. As soon as companies post jobs for any new role through this tool, users will see it in the job search results. For this, Application Tracking System (ATS) has been added, which provides data of candidates to hiring companies through XML feed.
Users will not be charged anything to use the Jobs feature on X. However, for X-Hiring, companies will be charged $ 1,000 i.e. approximately Rs 82,000 every month. Users will click or tap on the Jobs option given in the X app or website to search for jobs. After this, use keywords to search jobs of your choice.
