BSNL SIM Vending Machine
Now users will not have to visit the exchange or store to buy BSNL SIM card. Government telecom company will now provide SIM cards to users through ATM. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has showcased its SIM vending machine during the ongoing India Mobile Congress (IMC) at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Users can get SIM card issued anytime using BSNL’s self-care app and SIM vending machine.

This 24*7 SIM vending machine of BSNL will be installed in major public places like railway stations and airports. The company is preparing to install SIM vending machines that look like ATMs to rapidly increase the number of its customers. The company is going to start 4G service across the country soon. Besides, trials for 5G network have also been started. Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that the 5G service of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited will start rolling out from June next year.
This SIM vending machine of BSNL will prove to be especially beneficial for those users who do not want to go to the telecom company’s office or telephone exchange. They will be able to buy a new SIM card through BSNL Self Care app and vending machine. Apart from this, the company has also showcased new age technologies such as Intelligent Village, Metaverse and Mission Critical Service in Asia’s biggest tech event. Besides, the company is also going to use AI to curb spam calls.
Spam free network through AI
BSNL has also demonstrated spam detection network through AI and Machine Learning (ML) at India Mobile Congress. Apart from this, the company has also shown a glimpse of calling and broadband service through satellite. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has partnered with global brand Viasat for satellite connectivity service. This satellite connectivity service can prove to be a milestone especially for the Defense Force.
