Paying traffic challan has now become very easy. Soon, you’ll be able to make payments with your challan details via your WhatsApp. The Transport Department is preparing to send traffic challans through WhatsApp soon. Besides, challan payment can also be done through WhatsApp. This information has come to light from a post shared by the Delhi government. The government said in its post that now e-challan will be sent directly to those who violate traffic rules through WhatsApp and payment can be made from the given link.

Everything will be done on WhatsApp

At present, for violation of traffic rules, traffic challan can be paid online through the official website or app of the Transport Department. However, many times people do not receive messages related to challan, due to which they are not aware about the challan. Once this service is started on WhatsApp, people will get the information about the challan immediately and they will also be able to pay it easily.

According to the report, on an average 1,000 to 1,500 vehicles are issued challans every day in Delhi. After the WhatsApp system is activated, it will be easy to pay instant challan. After the WhatsApp traffic challan system is activated, people will continue to get information, reminders etc. related to challan from time to time. Apart from this, after depositing the challan, its receipt will also be available on WhatsApp only.
