A shocking news has come from America. Actually, 73 years ago a child disappeared from a park in West Oakland, California, who has now returned. At that time Luis Armando Albino was 6 years old. The incident took place on 21 February 1951. In such a situation, Luis has now grown from a child to an old man. He was playing with his 10-year-old brother Roger in the park near the house, when a woman lured Luis with chocolate and took him away with her.
After this, Luis did not return. The police tried to find Luis, but could not find him. The army personnel searched the area, but still could not find him. After this, the FBI was also given the investigation, but nothing came out of it. Meanwhile, Luis’s mother, who was hoping to meet her son, died at the age of 92. She was trying every possible way to find her son. She died in the year 2005.
The niece continued the search
After this, Luis’s 63-year-old niece, Alida Alequin, continued the search. According to Alida, she thought her uncle was still alive. The family members used to talk about him. There was always a photo of him in the house. Alida Alequin started collecting DNA tests and old newspaper cuttings and took the help of investigative agencies. After doing an online DNA test in 2020, Alida’s DNA matched 22 percent with a person. Alida thought her search was over, but when Alida tried to contact the person, she did not get any response. This disappointed her.
How did you find your niece?
One day in the Oakland Public Library, Alida saw a photo of Luis, which looked just like her uncle. She immediately went to meet him. It turned out that this was her uncle. She brought him home, where Luis met his elder brother. Luis sat holding his brother for a long time. They hugged and talked a lot. Luis is now 79 years old and has become not only a father but also a grandfather. Luis Albino is now a retired firefighter and Marine Corps veteran, who has done two tours in Vietnam. Luis’s elder brother Roger died of cancer last month at the age of 82.
