A vehicle was hit by a landslide on Sunday near Rondo Malupa in Skardu in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region, killing at least five people in it. Police gave this information.
Police said that the vehicle was going from Skardu towards Shangas when suddenly it got buried under falling debris. Police termed the incident as “horrific” as the vehicle was completely damaged due to the huge amount of debris falling, leaving the occupants with no chance to escape. He said that a rescue team was immediately sent to the spot for relief operations. Officials confirmed that at least five people died in the incident.
