Billionaire professional Linda McMahon has been named Minister of Education. “I am pleased to announce that Howard Lutnick, Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, will join my administration as U.S. Secretary of Commerce,” Trump said.

Who is Linda McMahon?

McMahon served as head of the SBA from 2017 to 2019, during Trump’s first term. Before her political career, she co-founded World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) with her husband Vince McMahon. McMahon also made a name for herself in politics, running as the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Connecticut in 2010, where she lost to Democrat Richard Blumenthal. McMahon served as Chairman of the Board of the America First Policy Institute. is a conservative think tank created in 2021 by Trump’s allies to promote his priorities. He also played a big role in Trump’s team, working with billionaire Howard Lutnick, who has been selected to lead the Commerce Department.

Worked in Connecticut Board of Education

McMahon served on the Connecticut Board of Education for a year in 2009 and spent several years on the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart University in Connecticut.
