An Indian national has been arrested with unaccounted gold near Nagdhunga, the main entry point to Kathmandu. This information was provided by the police According to Nepal Police Headquarters, during a routine security check, a team of Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police arrested Kanhaiya Lal (27), a resident of Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, with 356 grams of unaccounted gold.
Police said Lal was going from Butawal to Kathmandu in a passenger bus carrying the gold without any supporting documents. Police said that further investigation has been started in the matter.
