Why did Vivek Ramaswamy's high school graduation speech go viral? What responsibility has Trump given?

US President-elect Donald Trump said that Elon Musk and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will lead the newly created Department of Government Efficiency. Ramaswamy is the first Indian to be appointed to a post in the Trump 2.0 administration, which will come into effect from January 20 next year. An old video of a biotech entrepreneur’s high school graduation speech is going viral. Ramaswamy, an 18-year-old student of St. Xavier High School, is seen in the video giving the commencement speech. Describing his journey during high school, Maswami was seen saying that I have been running races my entire high school career, but now, when we are finally crossing the finish line. So I wish I had stopped a little earlier, and taken a breath of that fresh air. He then welcomes everyone, saying, Faculty, staff, classmates, counselors and friends, I would like to welcome you to the 2003 St.

Supported Trump by withdrawing his claim

Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy was in the race to become the Republican Party’s presidential candidate but later withdrew his candidature and decided to support Donald Trump. After a poor performance in the primaries, Ramaswamy decided to drop his candidacy in January and support Trump. Donald Trump, who has won the US presidential election, on Tuesday has entrusted the work of ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ to Tesla owner Elon Musk and Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. Ramaswamy, the 39-year-old son of an Indian immigrant, is the first Indian-American whom Trump has inducted into his administration. Ramaswamy is the first Indian-American to be appointed to a post in the Trump administration, which comes into effect from January 20 next year. Trump announced Tuesday that Musk and Ramaswamy will lead the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, which aims to improve governance and curb wasteful spending. Ramaswamy, a well-known entrepreneur, had run for the Republican presidential nomination but after a poor performance in the primaries, Ramaswamy had decided to end his bid in January and support Trump.

Engineer father and doctor mother

Ramaswamy’s father V Ganapathy Ramaswamy is an engineer by profession, while his mother Geeta Ramaswamy is a psychiatrist. His parents migrated to America from Kerala. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Indian-origin entrepreneur was a nationally ranked tennis player. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard. After this he started his own biotech company Roivant Sciences. The biotech entrepreneur is married to Apoorva, a throat surgeon and assistant professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. They live in Columbus, Ohio and have two sons. Trump said that Republican leaders have long dreamed of DOGE.

What responsibility have you received?

The Department of Government Efficiency will provide outside advice and guidance to the government and partner with the White House and the Office of Management and Budget to drive large-scale structural reform and an entrepreneurial approach to government that has never been seen before. “I look forward to Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy transforming the federal bureaucracy to drive efficiency while improving the lives of all Americans,” he said.
