In a tragic incident near Kadi town in Mehsana district of Gujarat, three laborers died due to mudslide at a construction site on Saturday. The accident occurred when workers were digging a pit for an underground tank in Jasalpur village, about 37 kilometers from the district headquarters. After the wall collapsed, the workers were buried alive under loose soil. Mehsana SP Tarun Duggal said that 7 people died after the wall of a private company collapsed near Jasalpur village of Kadi taluka of Mehsana district.

Authorities are working to ensure the safe recovery of any additional workers buried under the debris. Earlier, two migrant women laborers died after being buried under the debris of a wall collapse in an industrial unit in Gol Jamala village of Nalagarh yesterday evening. The company, Veer Plastics, manufactures a variety of plastic materials. According to Additional SP, Baddi, Ashok Verma, the accident occurred when the women were working at a site near an old wall in the company, which collapsed due to heavy goods being kept on it. Both of them suffered many injuries on their bodies. Local people pulled him out of the debris and took him to the hospital.
