Amid increasing air pollution in Delhi, a person raised his demand, said - If you want to vote, then give oxygen.
Delhi is currently completely wrapped in a blanket of dense fog and mist. The air quality in Delhi continues to remain at severe level. Now due to this situation in Delhi, the lives of the common people are also being negatively affected. People are facing many health related problems. Even visibility has reduced.
Due to local pollution and burning of seasonal crops in nearby states, a blanket of smog has covered the sky. Public concern grew over Delhi’s continuing battle with air pollution. Amidst the deteriorating situation, a man has made a demand in a unique way to bring about change. A user u/gaurav1406 on Reddit has publicly shared a photo of a man holding a placard. This person is demanding fresh air in exchange for votes from the government.
The man in the video can also be seen reportedly wearing a mask on the road in Punjabi Bagh, as the caption of the post suggests, “Somewhere near Punjabi Bagh.” It was written on this placard, “Want to vote? Give O2 (oxygen), give clean air, vote.” Prabhasakshi does not confirm this photo.
It is noteworthy that concerned about the “severe” level of air pollution in Delhi, the administration has started GRAP Stage 4 anti-pollution measures in the Delhi-NCR region from Monday. Many restrictions will have to be faced if the rules of Grape 4 are implemented. Under Group 4, entry of trucks in Delhi has been stopped. Only trucks carrying essential goods and providing essential services will be allowed to enter Delhi. However, entry of LNG/CNG/electric/BS-VI diesel trucks has not been banned. They may enter.
